Virtual sessions allow for more flexibility, efficiency, and timeliness. This may also be a good option for clients who lack access to quality services in their area due to too few resources or long waitlists. As long as you are currently residing in any PSYPACT state, you may be eligible for online therapy.

Gender Affirming Surgery Assessment

I believe that any transgender, gender diverse, or non-binary individual should be supported to obtain gender affirming surgical procedures. I write surgical referral letters consistent with WPATH guidelines as this is the standard of care which most surgeons follow. In some cases, I may also tailor my letter to further demonstrate medical necessity for insurance coverage. Surgeries are medically necessary and I use an informed consent model; our work together is trans-centered, placing you as the expert rather than therapist as gate-keeper. Surgeries often reduce dysphoria and increase instances of gender euphoria, allowing clients to live life as their affirmed self, with less barriers.

“When we can see ourselves as we truly are and accept ourselves, we build the necessary foundation for self-love…whether we learn how to love ourselves and others will depend on the presence of a loving environment. Self love cannot flourish in isolation.”

Good Faith Estimate

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers are required to provide clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for health care services. This is to reduce any unexpected medical bills.

My rates are listed above, and a written estimate can be requested that includes a description of services, session fees, and diagnostic codes.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one (1) business day before your scheduled health care service. You can also ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or print your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit No Surprises or call 1-877-696-6775.
